Baseball Game Preview: Port Huron Red Hawks vs. Port Huron Northern Huskies

For the second straight game, Port Huron will face off against Port Huron Northern. The Red Hawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Huskies at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Someone's luck will take a turn for the better: Port Huron has lost four straight at home , while Port Huron Northern has lost six on the road (dating back to last season).

On Tuesday, Port Huron didn't have quite enough to beat Port Huron Northern and fell 3-2.

For Port Huron Northern's part, Owen Hill made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Hill was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was his first of the season.

Hill wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Camden McCulloch, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Port Huron's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Port Huron Northern, their victory bumped their record up to 3-7.
