Basketball Recap: Davis County Takes a Loss

After flying high against New London last Tuesday, Davis County came back down to earth. The Davis County Mustangs lost to the Central Lee Hawks on the road by a 56-37 margin on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 64-51 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Davis County has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 13-11 record this season. As for Central Lee, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-9.

Davis County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Lee, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Hawks take on the Falcons on Monday.
