Baseball Game Preview: Emmanuel Christian Warriors vs. Cardinal Stritch Cardinals

For the second straight game, Emmanuel Christian will face off against Cardinal Stritch. The Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Cardinals at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Emmanuel Christian will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Cardinal Stritch, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. The Warriors never let the Cardinals get on the board and left with a 5-0 win on Wednesday.

The result came thanks to Sam Kutz's shutout, as he gave up just three hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Tim Sherban was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Karston Kickbusch also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Cardinal Stritch is on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-12. As for Emmanuel Christian, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-7.
