King is a perfect 3-0 against Alice since February of 2025 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Mustangs will face off against the Coyotes at 6:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

King fell victim to Ray and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Texans.

Meanwhile, Alice was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 11-0 to Gregory-Portland. While losing is never fun, Alice can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 731st, while Gregory-Portland are ranked 155th).

Alice's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14-1. As for King, they now have a losing record of 9-10-1.

Everything went King's way against Alice in their previous matchup back in February, as King made off with an 8-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
