Hanover hasn't had much luck against Bermudian Springs recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Nighthawks will welcome the Eagles at 4:15 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Hanover got a great performance from Chase Foreman as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over 6.1 innings pitched. Those six strikeouts gave Foreman a new career-high.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Tim Wagaman, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Hanover is 3-1 when Wagaman posts two or more runs, but 2-8 otherwise. Carver Alvarez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run.
Meanwhile, Bermudian Springs had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.9 runs) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Spartans as they made off with an 8-2 win. Eight seems to be a good number for the Eagles as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Skyler Gentzler looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Dylan Hubbard and Cal Chubb did most of the damage at the plate: Hubbard went 2-for-4 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI, while Chubb got on base in all four of his plate appearances with four stolen bases and two runs. Chubb also got a hit, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Nate Keller, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs and one triple.
Bermudian Springs pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Hanover, their win bumped their record up to 5-9.
Hanover suffered a grim 19-4 defeat to Bermudian Springs in their previous matchup back in March. Will the Nighthawks have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
