Basketball Recap: Sundance Extends Winning Streak to Three

Sundance extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jaylin Mills. The Sundance Bulldogs took down the Wright Panthers 58-40 on Saturday thanks in part to Mills, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted 18 or more points the last three times she's played.

Another player making a difference was Blakely Gill, who posted ten points and three steals. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Despite the loss, Wright still got an impressive performance from Briana Meza, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten boards. Anaeli Salas was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Sundance's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Wright, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season.

Looking ahead, Sundance will square off against Tongue River at 2:30 p.m. on February 22nd. As for Wright, they will head out on the road to square off against Big Horn at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
