Volleyball Recap: Wisconsin Dells Comes Up Short on the Road Against Portage + How To Watch

Wisconsin Dells had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Portage Warriors on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chiefs of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

While Wisconsin Dells was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-23.

Piper Waterman paced Wisconsin Dells' offense, picking up six kills. Waterman got some help from Isabelle Johnson and her 15 assists. Waterman also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Eva Toteva, racking up two apiece.

Wisconsin Dells has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Lodi on the 26th. As for Portage, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Edgerton on the 26th.
