Softball Recap: Baldwin County Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Baldwin County barely beat Satsuma the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers put the hurt on the Gators with a sharp 10-4 victory on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won 11 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was Baldwin County's third in a row) raised their record to 15-8. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Satsuma, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 17-11-1 record.

Baldwin County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 16-1 loss against Hewitt-Trussville on the 4th. As for Satsuma, they will venture away from home to challenge Orange Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Makos' pitching crew has only allowed 0.9 runs per game this season, so the Gators' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
