Pinckney was the 6-2 winner over Bedford when they last played one another on Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates fell 9-4 to the Kicking Mules on Wednesday. The Pirates' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Mackenzie Burns made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run. Addison Wroblewski was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Pinckney's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Bedford, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3-1 record this season.

Pinckney and Bedford should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings.
