Granger took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Hunter, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Granger sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Hunter on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Lancers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Granger was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-22, 20-25, 25-9, 15-8.

Granger's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4. As for Hunter, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Granger will welcome Logan at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Granger is facing Logan at the right time seeing as Logan is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Hunter, they will be playing at home against East at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
