Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Cox Mill walked away with it. Everything went their way against the McDowell Titans on Tuesday as they made off with a 4-0 win. Cox Mill might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by three goals or more this season.

They hit McDowell with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Heath Parks (2), Gavin Powell, and Colin Finlon.

Cox Mill pushed their record up to 12-8-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three matchups. As for McDowell, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8-3.

Cox Mill wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 4-1 defeat against West Cabarrus on the 6th. McDowell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
