Otis has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They and the Idalia Wolves will meet in a canine-themed contest at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.
Last Tuesday, everything went Otis' way against Weldon Valley as Otis made off with a 3-0 win.
Otis never let Weldon Valley on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-23, 25-21.
Meanwhile, Idalia came tearing into Thursday's contest with six straight wins and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Wildcats 3-0.
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Idalia was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-10, 25-15.
Otis is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. As for Idalia, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-2.
