Eastwood kept a clean sheet against Shawnee on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over the Indians. Eastwood might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by four goals or more this season.

The win (which was Eastwood's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-2-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four games. As for Shawnee, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6-2.

Looking ahead, Eastwood will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Notre Dame Academy at 5:00 p.m. As for Shawnee, they will challenge Wapakoneta at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Wapakoneta's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Shawnee's offense will have their work cut out for them.
