Volleyball Recap: Douglass' Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home + How To Watch

Douglass lost against Goessel back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bluebirds.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18.

De'Nalee White paced Douglass' offense, picking up eight kills. White got some help from Madison Waggoner and her 13 assists. Waggoner was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Douglass' loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4. As for Goessel, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Douglass will be playing at home against Moundridge on Saturday. As for Goessel, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Lyons on the 18th.
