Basketball Recap: Boothbay Comes Up Short

Boothbay lost against Dirigo back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Boothbay Seahawks fell 56-49 to the Dirigo Cougars. The Seahawks' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Boothbay's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Dirigo, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-6.

Boothbay will be playing in front of their home fans against North Yarmouth Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Dirigo, they will venture away from home to take on Traip at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
