Volleyball Game Preview: Tintic Miners vs. Wayne Badgers

Tintic is 0-3 against Wayne since October of 2022 but things could change on Friday. The Miners will take on the Badgers at 3:00 p.m.

On Saturday, Tintic came up short against Tabiona and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 14-25, 25-9, 25-21.

Tintic's loss came about despite a quality game from Kyah Farr, who had nine digs and two aces. Farr is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Meanwhile, Wayne had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pirates.

Wayne was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19, 25-7.

Tintic's defeat dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Wayne, their victory bumped their record up to 15-5.

Tintic might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Wayne in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Miners avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
