Softball Recap: Wiseburn- Da Vinci Takes a Loss

Wiseburn- Da Vinci was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 7-3 to the Mira Costa Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-7 on April 2nd.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jasmine Veal, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Mira Costa, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-15.

Coming up, Wiseburn- Da Vinci will head out to take on Peninsula at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wolves are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Mira Costa, they will host Leuzinger at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Olympians will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight.
