Softball Recap: Monday's Victory Is Paradise Honors' Sixth in Last Eight Outings

Paradise Honors got themselves on the board against Moon Valley on Monday, but Moon Valley never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 19-0 margin over the Rockets. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won six matchups by 11 runs or more so far this season.

Paradise Honors got a massive performance out of Meghan Stroh, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave Stroh a new career-high. Ashlyn Elliott was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Paradise Honors hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in nine consecutive contests.

Paradise Honors is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.6 runs over those games. As for Moon Valley, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Paradise Honors beat the Rockets by a score of 20-0 on Wednesday.
