Baseball Game Preview: Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils vs. Buckhorn Bucks

The Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils will challenge the Buckhorn Bucks at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Mortimer Jordan is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.

Last Tuesday, Mortimer Jordan earned a 6-3 win over Moody.

Jackson Woodruff looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in 17 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Mortimer Jordan saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryce Funderburk, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
