Volleyball Game Preview: Latin Romans vs. Lake View Wildcats

The Latin Romans will take on the Lake View Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Latin's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Lake View has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

On Tuesday, Latin beat Lake Forest Academy 2-0. The Romans haven't had any issues with the Caxys recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Latin not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Lake Forest Academy between 16 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Lake View came up short against Whitney Young on Tuesday and fell 2-0.

While Lake View ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21.

Lake View's loss dropped their record down to 5-12-1. As for Latin, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
