Sharpsville is 8-2 against West Middlesex since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Blue Devils will be playing in front of their home fans against the Big Reds at 5:00 p.m. Sharpsville is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Sharpsville is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They fell 14-9 to Mercer on Saturday.

Jonathan Bissell made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabe Titus, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for West Middlesex, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They never let Reynolds get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Big Reds, who have now won five games by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Roman Golub, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Nolan Kayser was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

West Middlesex was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Reynolds only posted a batting average of .000.

West Middlesex pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Sharpsville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
