Basketball Recap: Sheridan's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Two

Sheridan won the last time they faced Aurora West College Prep Academy and Bobby Garcia did his part to make sure it happened again. The stars were shining brightly for the Rams in a 65-46 win over the Spartans on Thursday with plenty of help from Garcia, who posted 26 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Sheridan's points.

The victory made it two in a row for Sheridan and bumps their season record up to 4-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games. As for Aurora West College Prep Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Sheridan and Aurora West College Prep Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Rams see the court they'll take on Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. on January 12, 2026. As for Aurora West College Prep Academy, their break will end when they face Golden View Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2026.
