Basketball Recap: Kenesaw Piles Up the Points Against Franklin

Kenesaw won the last time they faced Franklin and things went their way on Friday too. The Kenesaw Blue Devils claimed a resounding 65-24 win over the Franklin Flyers. The Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 30 points or more this season.

Leading Kenesaw to victory were Adam Denkert and Maddox Wagoner. Denkert went 9 of 12 on his way to 20 points and eight rebounds, while Wagoner went 5 for 11 en route to 13 points along with six boards and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Rodriguez, who posted five points.

When it comes to explaining why Franklin lost, don't look at Eldon Haack. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 16 rebounds. Seth Stephens was another key player, putting up seven points.

Kenesaw has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Franklin, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Kenesaw didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 51-40 loss against Pleasanton on the 25th. Franklin has also already played their next game (against Axtell), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
