Basketball Recap: Dominguez Takes a Loss

After flying high against Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary last Wednesday, Dominguez came back down to earth. The Dominguez Dons might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Elko Indians an easy 60-37 victory. The contest marked the Dons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Dominguez has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season. As for Elko, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Dominguez and Northridge Academy will round out the year against one another at at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dominguez is facing Northridge Academy at the right time seeing as Northridge Academy is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Elko, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Bruce Randolph at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
