The Fellowship Baptist Academy Eagles typically have all the answers at home, but on Tuesday the Scotland Christian Academy Saints proved too difficult a challenge. Scotland Christian Academy narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Fellowship Baptist Academy 49-47.
Jeffrey St.Onge continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points along with 3 steals. The matchup was his sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Cartrette, who scored 10 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Scotland Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Fellowship Baptist Academy, they have yet to win a game at home this season, leaving them with a 8-4 record.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Scotland Christian Academy will face off against White Plains Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fellowship Baptist Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Mount Calvary Christian at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
