Albemarle has gone a perfect 10-0 against Charlottesville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Patriots will head out to face off against the Black Knights at 6:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for Albemarle and ten for Charlottesville.

Albemarle lost 14-2 to Culpeper County on Friday.

Myah Washington made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Charlottesville's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Monticello on Thursday.

Albemarle's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Charlottesville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.

Albemarle took their win against Charlottesville in their previous meeting back in April by a conclusive 15-4 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
