Volleyball Recap: Emmett Comes Up Short

Emmett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the McCall-Donnelly Vandals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vandals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

While Emmett was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-23, 25-20.

Emmett's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for McCall-Donnelly, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Emmett is set to take on their familiar foe Fruitland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, McCall-Donnelly will challenge rival Weiser at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
