Basketball Recap: Moorhead Falls Short Against Ranked Century

Moorhead is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Century. The Moorhead Spuds fell just short of the Century Patriots by a score of 66-63. The Spuds have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Moorhead's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Century, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-1.

Moorhead has already played their next match, an 85-68 victory against Kindred on the 14th. Century has also already played their next game (against Bismarck), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
