The Valley View Eagles wound up on the wrong side of a rough 12-1 walloping at the hands of the Whitesboro Bearcats. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Valley View in their matchups with Whitesboro: they've now lost six in a row.
For Whitesboro's part, Maci Graves was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Graves was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base.
In other batting news, Bradi Gallaway was incredible, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 4-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now hit three or more in the last three games she's played.
