Baseball Recap: Arlington Comes Up Short

After flying high against Watertown on Thursday, Arlington came back down to earth. The Spy Ponders took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Winchester Red & Black on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Spy Ponders in their meetings with the Red & Black: they've now lost six in a row.

Sitota Levine was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Marshall, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.

Arlington's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Winchester, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arlington will challenge Belmont at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Winchester, they will face off against Westport at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
