Argo won the last time they faced Shepard and things went their way on Thursday too. The Argonauts had just enough and edged out the Astros 2-1. The victory was nothing new for the Argonauts as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Argo had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-20, 25-18.

Sebastian Pardol paced Argo's offense, picking up 17 kills. Pardol got some help from Alexander Jakowicki and his 29 assists. Jakowicki was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Argo's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-5. As for Shepard, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-9.

Looking ahead, Argo will take on Marmion in a tournament on Friday. The Argonauts are facing the Cadets at the right time seeing as the Cadets are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Shepard, they are taking a road trip to challenge Reavis at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
