Mariner is 9-1 against Island Coast since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Both will face off at 7:30 p.m. without much rest having both just played. Mariner is looking for their season's first win.

Island Coast dropped their record down to 10-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Mariner, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-15.

Everything came up roses for Mariner against Island Coast in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 96-65 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mariner since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
