Old Colony RVT took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Cape Cod RVT, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cougars sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Crusaders on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cougars have posted since September 9th.

Old Colony RVT's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Cape Cod RVT, they dropped their record down to 7-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Old Colony RVT is set to face off against their familiar foe South Shore Vo-Tech at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Cape Cod RVT will challenge rival Bristol County Agricultural at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
