Baseball Game Preview: Warwick Warriors vs. Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers

The Warwick Warriors will head out to face off against the Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Warwick couldn't beat Muhlenberg on Thursday even though they stacked four runs on them in the seventh inning. The Warriors fell 8-5 to the Muhls.

Meanwhile, Lampeter-Strasburg has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.74 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. They lost 11-5 to Conestoga Valley.

Brayden Hart was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one double. Another player making a difference was James Wall, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Warwick's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Lampeter-Strasburg, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.

Warwick couldn't quite get it done against Lampeter-Strasburg in their previous meeting back in April as they fell 9-5. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
