Volleyball Recap: Proviso East Comes Up Short

Proviso East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Waukegan Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-15.

Proviso East's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Waukegan, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 8-14.

Proviso East didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Streamwood on the 27th. As for Waukegan, they will host Libertyville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
