After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Handley, Manassas Park was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Park View Patriots with a sharp 19-2 victory. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Minh Huynh made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 3.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2. That hit was his first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Wesley Howell, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Joshua Witz, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

The victory got Manassas Park back to even at 2-2. As for Park View, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manassas Park will head out to take on James Wood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Park View, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Potomac Falls at 6:30 p.m. on April 3.
