It was fun while it lasted, but Ropes's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Saturday. The match between them and the New Home Leopards didn't end well, with the Ropes Eagles falling 46-27. The loss was the Eagles' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Ropes fell to 3-1. As for New Home, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Ropes will take on Morton in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Home, they will be home for the holidays to greet Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something New Home surely won't give up without a fight.
