After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Viera, Melbourne was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Melbourne has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Bayside and nudges their season record down to 8-3.
Looking ahead, Melbourne will take on IMG Academy Royal in a tournament on Tuesday.
