It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Florence had no problem doing just that on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the East Central Hornets 5-4. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.

Rod Davis Jr. made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over 6.1 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits.
