Southeast waltzed into their contest on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came out on top against the Gordon-Rushville Mustangs by a score of 2-0. The Cyclones have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Brylie Booth paced Southeast's offense, picking up 12 kills. Booth got some help from Keana Llewellyn and her 22 assists. Llewellyn also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Hadley Leithead, each putting up two.

Southeast's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Gordon-Rushville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.

Coincidentally, Southeast and Gordon-Rushville will both be playing Valentine the next time they take the court. The Mustangs will head out to face Valentine at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Cyclones will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
