Basketball Recap: Benton Extends Road Winning Streak to Seven

It was a proper cat-fight when Benton challenged Park Hill South on Friday. The Benton Cardinals put the hurt on the Park Hill South Panthers with a sharp 74-50 victory. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Benton's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.7 points. As for Park Hill South, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Benton will take on Carl Junction in a tournament on Thursday. As for Park Hill South, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Kearney at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
