Volleyball Recap: Kimball Comes Up Short

Kimball was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Tokay Tigers. The Jaguars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.

Tatum Stewart was the offensive standout of the contest as she had seven digs and two aces.

Kimball's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Tokay, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coming up, Kimball will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against East Union at 6:30 p.m. As for Tokay, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against McNair at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Tigers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
