Springfield made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Windsor, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Cosmos were the clear victors by a 17-5 margin over the Yellowjackets on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Cosmos considering their two-run performance the game before.

The win got Springfield back to even at 1-1. As for Windsor, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Springfield will head out to face off against Long Trail at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Windsor, they will venture away from home to take on Leland & Gray at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
