Garaway is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Ridgewood as they made off with an 11-1 win. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Portsmouth West narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Dawson-Bryant 3-2. That's two games straight that the Senators have won by just one run.

Portsmouth West's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was M Bradford, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Garaway's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Portsmouth West, their win bumped their record up to 15-13.
