Basketball Recap: Walkerville Wildcats vs. Mesick Bulldogs
Walkerville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Mesick Bulldogs 72-26. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-9 back in January.
Leading Mesick to victory were Kristian Synder and Kenyan White. Synder posted 18 points, while White put up 18 points. Those 18 points gave White a new career-high. Gabe Bradley was another key player, putting up nine points.
Walkerville's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Mesick, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-11 record this season.
Walkerville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 80-14 defeat against Bear Lake on the 7th. As for Mesick, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-30 loss against Manton on the 10th.
