Baseball Recap: Bradford Comes Up Short

Bradford came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 8-1 to the DuBois Beavers. The Owls were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Beavers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Bradford saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Willard, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that Willard hit this season.

Bradford's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for DuBois, their record now sits at 4-1.

Coming up, Bradford will square off against Portville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for DuBois, they will be playing at home against Lakeview at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Beavers 3.6, the Sailors 0) so any runs scored will be well earned.
