Morgan had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They came out on top against the Grantsville Cowboys by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Cowboys back in March, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Morgan had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 11-25, 26-24, 27-25, 25-19.

Jack Komenda paced Morgan's offense, picking up 20 kills. Komenda got some help from Caleb Stephens and his 36 assists. Finally, David Thomsen kept Morgan's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

When it comes to explaining why Grantsville lost, don't look at Tyse Fuentes. Despite the final result, he had 11 digs.

Morgan's victory bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Grantsville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Morgan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Ridgeline on the 18th. As for Grantsville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Murray on the 18th.
