Cyprus won the last time they faced Granger and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Pirates put the hurt on the Lancers with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Cyprus took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12, 25-13.

Tupou Taumoepeau paced Cyprus' offense, picking up 15 kills. Taumoepeau got some help from Zion Odejinmi and her 12 assists. Taumoepeau was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Cyprus has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-17 record this season. As for Granger, their loss was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-21.

As of now, neither Cyprus nor the Lancers have any future games scheduled.
