Baseball Recap: Mendota's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak at Home

Mendota had lost five games at home, but after bumping their record up to 6-10 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the Granite Hills Grizzlies 12-2. The Aztecs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Grizzlies, too.

As for Granite Hills, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly ten runs.

For Granite Hills' part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adrian Bedolla, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Mendota has already played their next game, a 9-6 win against Strathmore on the 16th. As for Granite Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Avenal on the 16th.
