Volleyball Recap: New Waverly Comes Up Short

New Waverly was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Royse City.

New Waverly's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Royse City, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

New Waverly will venture away from home to take on Huntington at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Royse City, they will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Caldwell at 9:00 a.m.
